During the second and third hours (9:30am and 11:00am) on most Sunday mornings classes are available to your preschooler through 6th grader. Children's Church runs concurrently with the third (11:00am) adult worship service and is a wonderful learning experience for children. Our age-graded preschool and elementary Sunday School program during the second-hour worship slot (9:30am) has a well-balanced mixture of learning—including Bible lessons, application activities, and sometimes crafts—to bond together your child's understanding of the Christian life. What they see and experience from the teaching team will transfer to what Jesus is like. Through this valuable time, kids will have the opportunity to have their lives changed because of having their hearts and minds opened to the most important person in their lives... Jesus.
Placement & Promotion
Children are placed into the appropriate class based on their age/grade on the first Sunday of September. Promotions occur only in September. For example, at on Promotion Sunday, children who have reached 2 years of age will move from the nursery to the 2-year-old class, those who were in the 2-year-old class will move to the 3-year-old class, and so on. Upon reaching the pre-kindergarten class, children will remain there until the Fall that they begin attending kindergarten in school. From that time on, children will be in the Sunday School class that matches their grade in school.
